Welcome to the Erlas Victorian Walled Garden website

The Erlas Garden Project provides specialised training and support for a group of up to 40 adults with learning and mental health disabilities. It is set within a Victorian Walled Garden, which is in need of restoration and horticultural expertise.

Image of the Mulberry TreeThe project aims to promote and protect the health of people with disabilities by providing meaningful daytime activity, education and work experience in horticulture and also promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment through the maintenance of the garden for the education and enjoyment of the public.

To find out what activities have taken place in the garden, please take a look at our blog pages, we try to update the blog on a bi-monthly basis.

There is also information on our many partners and benefactors who have been instrumental in helping restore the garden with their generous donations.

Keep up to date with our news and events or visit our gallery page where we will soon have a selection of pictures from each year since the current project started.
